Today is Saturday December 6th, 2008
Breakfast was a brunch we were invited to. There was scrambled eggs, home fries(they were very spicy-the kids didn’t like them at all!), homemade biscuits with butter and jelly, fresh fruit, sausage gravy, sausage patties, bacon, and various beverages.
This morning we had our photo taken in front of a lovely Christmas tree. The children went to a church Christmas party. They got to make a pillowcase for their new pillows they got. Then they were given a burgundy colored throw to share, it’s all fuzzy and very warm. I plan to get a few more to keep in the van for long trips.
Lunch was sandwiches and cranberry juice. Nothing fancy but the kids enjoyed their lunch.
Dinner is going to be chicken and dumplings along with chocolate creme cake. I plan to do some more laundry, work on some paper work, and pick up around the house this evening.
