Leggo of my Lego

Before we go any further I must disclose the legal stuff so I don’t get in trouble nor do the awesome folks at Lego KidsFest.

I received this product in exchange for a review on my blog. The opinions expressed above are 100% my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

We all know that summer means bug bites, Fourth of July, picnics and the chance to take a trip as a family. Take a trip is exactly what we did on Friday June 27 when we attended Lego KidsFest in Atlanta. Trust me when I say it was well worth the drive from where we live to Atlanta.

We arrived early and were one of the first people in line. Our youngest son who is in a wheelchair kept trying to roll his way towards the displays since all the kids were so excited to see what wonderful and new things that the creative minds at Lego were showing there.

The coolest thing was the HUGE Lego Batman. Batman towered at an amazing height as you can tell by the photo below

lego batman

Batman wasn’t the character on display. No there were characters from Star Wars including Darth Maul, the Hulk and The Lord of the Rings. The coolest thing was that Emmet Brickowski and
Wyldstyle/Lucy from The Lego Movie were there and they graciously posed with kids for photos

lego guys

Of course there were things for the girls to enjoy including Disney Princess Lego sets.

The staff at Lego KidsFest were wonderful as was the staff at the Cobb Galleria where Lego KidsFest was held. The entire area was very handicapped friendly with wide aisles and smooth floors.

My kids have already asked when are we going to visit the next Lego KidsFest! I’m not telling them so we can surprise them like we did this time.

Until next time…

The Most Comfortable Thing Ever-No Seriously…

Before we go any further I must disclose the legal stuff so I don’t get in trouble nor do the awesome folks at Coobie Bras…

I received this product in exchange for a review on my blog. The opinions expressed above are 100% my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

A few months back I told you all about these great bras from Coobie (http://mmommymusings.com/2014/04/07/pretty-and-comfy-sign-me-up-please/). Guess what, Jordan from Coobie was sweet enough to send me two of their bras to try for myself. I love these bras- no really I do. These are the most comfortable bras ever. No really they are.

I received a V-neck Full Size in really pretty tealish blue called Bahama Blue with a lace trim. Unlike a lot of lace trimmed bras, this lace is super soft and comfy. It has just the right amount of stretch as well as support to it. I like that the lace is pretty enough that if it happens to “peek” from a V-Necked is lady-like and refined looking. It has a set of removable pads. I removed the pads and it was still just as comfortable. I just throw it in my great big GE Adora Washer and Dryer at the end of the day with my other delicates and it comes out looking great.

I also received a Scoopneck Full Size in Black. I really put this one to the ultimate test! You see we did two back to back fundraisers for our little boy Gabriel (You can read about him here http://mmommymusings.com/2013/08/21/weeping-may-endure-for-a-night-but-joy-cometh-in-the-morning/) I was able to be comfortable in it from 10 am on Saturday morning until I fell in bed at almost 4 am on Sunday morning. The straps are wide enough to give good support without digging into my shoulders plus they don’t “travel” off my shoulders like some of my bras like to do. If anyone should be traveling it should be yours truly not my bra straps!

I like these bras so much that I am going to set aside some extra money so I can order a few more in other colors like Beaujolais, a deep claret wine color, Charcoal and Patriot Blue.

If you’d like to see what other great thing that Jordan and the crew at Coobie has just check out their website at http://shopcoobie.com/. Trust me, you’ll be glad that you did. Also let them know I sent you their way. Thanks.

My Review of Adovia Mineral Lift Serum

<img style=”display: none” src=”http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png” />

The following review is strictly my own opinion and thoughts. I received no monetary compensation for this review. I did however receive a free bottle of Adovia Mineral Lift Serum to try and review.

I recently got a chance to try a great new skin care product called Adovia Mineral Lift Serum. This is a serum so it has a higher number of acitve ingredients than say a lotion or cream type facial moisturizer. The active ingredients in this case are VItamin C that helps combat wrinkles, Dead Sea Salts that have vitamins and minerals that all of our skins need along with non greasy moisturizer great for hydration without feeling like an oil slick. (With the weather being all weird this summer with 90 degrees and dry one day and the very next being in the upper 70s and pouring the next good facial moisturizer is girl’s best friend)

What I personally like was that it only takes a small amount to moisturize your whole face. Some facial lotions and/or creams you have to use a large amount to actually feel like it’s doing anything. Not Adovia Mineral Lift Serum a simple pump and I was happily walking out the door to tackle the world.

Another thing is that the bottle is small and compact. The right size to toss in your make-up bag for travel or leave on your nightstand to remind yourself to moisturize before bed. I really do need to start doing better about doing this myself. “Why should you moisturize your face” you might ask . The answer is to prevent your skin from drying out.

So the question is would I recommend this product? Yes and with no hesitations. I think that personally this would make a great moisturizer for women of all ages.

Until next time…

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
